How they do it: To combine their no frills business model with courses such as yoga or spinning, McFit introduced virtual fitness courses. These are pre-recorded videos of personal instructors which are displayed on a large screen. The courses are available 24/7 and can be used flexibly by the members.

How they do it: Membership to access McFit’s fitness club facilities costs €19.90 per month. It includes access to every area, as well as the shower fee. Most clubs in Germany, Austria, Spain and Poland are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a week. The customer does not pay for the individual visits, but a flat rate fee is collected in form of the membership fee.

How they do it: McFit’s fitness centers are all open 24/7 allowing its customers to work out every day and time of the week. By having a completely self-serviced offering, the personnel needed to guarantee the around-the-clock opening hours is minimal.

How they do it: McFit’s fitness centers are designed to be fully self-service. The equipment in the gym has written down instructions. In addition, members can check and create a training plan online. Coache in the gym are usually only present to help with general questions but are not offering personal training.
Subscription
How they do it: McFit’s offers monthly subscriptions to their training facilities. These usually have a fixed minimum term.
